Billy Elliot Performers at DanceMakers Finale

Trent Kowalik, one of the three boys who shared the title role (and the resulting Tony Award) when the musical Billy Elliot opened on Broadway, and master teacher Thommie Retter, who made his Broadway debut as Mr. Braithwaite in the show, will be special guests at the national finals of the DanceMakers Inc. “Make Your Move” dance convention tour June 28 to July 1 in Myrtle Beach, North Carolina.

Kowalik will be on hand for all four days to assist and demonstrate in classes, hold a question-and-answer session about his rise to fame, and give a solo performance at the finals, where Retter will be teaching tap classes. To register, visit www.DanceMakersInc.com or call 866.443.5300 (the call is toll-free).
The tour’s last stops before the finals will be in suburban Chicago at the Hyatt Regency Woodfield from March 19 to 21 and in Charlotte, North Carolina, at the Charlotte Marriott Executive Park from March 26 to 28.
