Years ago, when he came to my studio to teach a workshop, not only did the kids love his classes, and he did a superb job, but his talk about competitions was priceless to me. He also spoke of how it is not what and if you win in competition, but the path while trying. That is how I feel, too, and was happy he told them this.
I watched him dance, every year at USTD, with Horizons in Dance, from his first year. What a talent, even then. I am so happy for his success. He worked hard to get there and did not get there by whining and complaining. Just good, old-fashioned hard work.
You go, Tyce!
