Florida Students Throw a Party for Pediatric Dance Therapy
Students from Not Just Dance in Clermont, Florida, have been working hard to generate pledges for a Saturday night dance party that will benefit the Dréa’s Dream pediatric dance therapy program run by the Andréa Rizzo Foundation.
The studio’s “Let Your Heart Move Your Feet” dance party with refreshments and a DJ will begin at 5pm November 5 at the studio, 735 West Montrose Street, Clermont.
The fundraising party has been organized through Dance Across America, which is run by the Andréa Rizzo Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to bringing dance therapy to children with cancer and special needs in pediatric hospitals and public schools. The foundation was created in memory of a young dance therapy graduate student and survivor of childhood cancer who was killed at 24 by a drunk driver.
