DLTV proudly presents a 4-Part Miniseries, Bill Evans: Seven Decades of Dance, Episode #1: Celebrating a Lifelong Passion. Bill Evans’ 31st annual birthday concert on April 10 and 11, 2010, marked his seventh decade; he dedicated the concert to the two most important women in his life, his mother and his “dance mom,” both now deceased. He also talks about his lifelong interest in dance, his father’s fear that his son would be ridiculed at school if he took dance lessons, and his own ways of dealing with being a male dancer in the 1940s and ’50s.
