Dance fans of Christina Perri have the chance to perform live with the singer if they are chosen top winner in a video choreography contest sponsored by Atlantic Records and DiscountDanceSupply.com.
To enter, fans must choreograph a dance to one of the tracks on Perri’s new EP, “The Ocean Way Sessions,” and submit a video of the dance before November 30. The winner, who will perform with Perri at the Coastal Dance Rage Convention on January 16 in Dallas, will be announced December 13.
The contest’s top 10 will be generated by votes from fans at www.discountdancesupply.com. From these finalists, a winner will be selected by judges including Perri; Keltie Colleen of the Radio City Rockettes; Chelsie Hightower of Dancing With the Stars; Tabitha and Napoleon D’Umo and Stacey Tookey of So You Think You Can Dance, and Shannon Mather, owner of Coastal Dance Rage.
Although a singer, it was Perri’s performance of “Jar of Hearts” on So You Think You Can Dance that propelled her to the top of the iTunes charts and into a record deal with Atlantic Records.
