Dance auditions for the second season of Nickelodeon’s The Fresh Beat Band will be held March 15—at 10 A.M. for girls and 2 P.M. for boys—at the Debbie Reynolds Studio in North Hollywood, California, with callbacks the following day.
Dancers should look as though they attend high school (boys should be clean-shaven) and be prepared to learn hip-hop choreography and possibly freestyle. The choreographer is Chuck Maldonado, assisted by Meisha Lee. Even dancers who worked on the show last season should audition because Nickelodeon executives will attend the callbacks.
The Fresh Beat Band is a live-action musical sitcom set to original pop songs with preschool-friendly lyrics. Marina, Kiki, Twist, and Shout are the Fresh Beats—four best friends in a band who go to music school together.
