Holiday Help & Career Moves

July 2017 | Volume 22 | Issue 5 | Buy a copy

Picture show business as two sides of a coin. To run a successful dance studio, owners and educators must understand business basics, such as economics, employment issues, and marketing. But they also need to know how to put on a great show. In this issue, we’ve got timely tales and tips to ensure these two sides—show and business—work together as one.

Several new columns and departments debut this month, covering tips for teaching dance to preschoolers, cool costuming, studio makeovers, self-care for teachers and studio owners, and advice from industry veterans to keep your business running smoothly.

Throughout the month of July, we’ll be publishing selected stories online, with most content available by August 1.
